Ideal Audience

Resilient Fundraising is for anyone looking to increase their fundraising capacity, competency, or comfort level. It will benefit nonprofit staff, board members, and volunteers with the sacred task of fundraising in their job description, including executive directors, development directors, development staff, and board members.

Michael Mitchell

Michael Mitchell

Michael is a learner, a lover of people, and a follower of Jesus. He is married to his high school sweetheart, the lovely and talented Annaleise Mitchell. They are the proud parents of Isabella, Benjamin, and Harrison.

He currently serves as CAFO’s Director of Development + Discipleship, providing fundraising training and coaching to executives and development staff at CAFO’s 200+ member organizations. Before coming to CAFO, Michael served as Director of Development and Marketing for an international water nonprofit after more than a decade in higher education fundraising and marketing with Oklahoma Christian University. With 15+ years of experience in fundraising shops large and small, he’s worn all the hats. No matter where you are in your fundraising journey, he’s probably been there too.

Michael enjoys reading, writing, hiking, bike riding, music of all kinds, travel, shenanigans with his kids, and is enthusiastic about roasting coffee.

 

Beth Guckenberger

Todd is an avid learner and constantly looks for ways to better serve the orphan and vulnerable child globally. Over the last twenty years, Todd has grown to become a sought out voice and leader in the orphan care movement.
